Re-upholstery of Patient Dental Chairs

Whatever the type or brand of patient dental chair/s you have, and whatever its condition, Meditelle can restore it to its former glory.
Our expert upholsterers use the highest standards of traditional skills backed by the latest technology to carry out a full onsite re-upholster of your medical healthcare equipment.

Meditelle's onsite re-upholstery service ensures that your equipment will not be out of service for any length of time with all processes carried out in your dental practice with minimal fuss.

Ensuring the safety of your equipment such as patient chairs and seating is vital. Re-upholstering may be all that's required if you have any scrage marks or slits in your couch or chair vinyl covering that presents a serious infection control hazard. Treating this quickly and efficiently with our re-covering service limits the chances of infections and keeps your equipment safe and hygienic.

 The Onsite Process

Our trained upholsterer /technician will arrive onsite at your practice with a mobile air compressor, staple gun, foam padding and vinyl material to carry out the following procedure:

• Carefully disassemble your patient chair/s and remove all existing upholstery down to the bare frame – this is important to ensure any contaminated padding is removed along with the top vinyl

• Inspect the frame and tighten all joints where necessary

• Replace all old foam with high resilience anti-combustion foam

• Finally, re-upholster your chair in a hydrophobic, anti-microbial vinyl fabric. We have large selection of medical grade vinyl colours to choose from.

On-site Visits

We will arrange a convenient date for us to visit…all procedures are carried out on-site. Note: during busy periods please allow approx. 3-4 weeks for us to schedule a visit.

 The Materials

• Meditelle’s medical grade anti-combustion foam

• Meditelle’s hydrophobic, anti-microbial medical grade vinyl’s are MRSA and E-coli resistant

Re-upholstery Prices

A total price will be quoted & charged to cover the following:

  • A technician to visit your location

  • Materials required i.e. the total quantity of vinyl fabric/ boards/& foam (dependant on number of chairs & type/design).

  • Time taken to strip and re-upholster couches on-site (dependent on design & quantity of chairs).
